Skill:Druidic Breathing (i.e. Meditation)
Druids often teach aspects of their martial forms to people in a cut-down way to help them heal themselves in various ways and get some insight into the inner workings of nature. There are 9 Druidic Breathing exercises, they are strictly used by people to heal and recouperate afer illness and cannot be used for as a proxy martial arts, the druids keep their martial secrets to themsleves and thought fortunate to get taught.
Usually all 9 are shown together as they are easily taught and learned, so you don't need to buy each form, the dice you buy is merely how accomplished you are in getting a beneficial effect from them.
Druidic breathing is used to recover and gain Willpower. To use the skill, roll the dice pool and recover 1 point of Willpower for every matching set of Height 2 or greater. You can only use it to gain 5 additional points of Willpower per day, whereas it can be used to recover any amount of lost Willpower.
To get the benefit from Druidic Breathing, one must commit at least 20 minutes and do the exercises in the presence in nature (i.e. be in a forest, near a stream or even a well maintained garden/park).
Snake hands
In a standing position, the user extends both arms and slightly flexes the fingers on one hand in time with the breathing
Tree Branch hands
This builds on Snake Hands and while standing still both arms remain still while matching the breathing to a slight stretching of the fingers
Changing Winds hands
The user breathes and slowly moves the arms in a windmill motion, while twisting and stretching the arms and fingers
Turning the body
Here the user gently turns the body to gently twist the spine and neck while moving the eyes and breathing slowly.
Waving branch hands
This exercise is where breathing is matched to slow arm and hand movements
Eagle Winds
This is static standing form where the arms are slightly turned out from the body at an angle.
Solid Rock
This is a seated meditative position to calm the mind
Swaying Tree
This is where the user gently rocks backs and forth while the arms move out and come back in circular motion
Moon and Sun Circle
This is usually the first taught and is a standing posture whereby it would appear that the user is making a circular shape with their two arms.
